Sadly Veteran Malayalam film and television actor Ottapalam Pappan is no more. He passed away on 25th July 2013, Thursday at his house at Pampadi, Thiruvilwamala. Ottapalam Pappan NP Padmanabhan, popularly known as Pappan was 68 years old.
NP Padmanabhan, popularly known as Pappan was a theatre artist in the beginning. He made his debut through 1991 movie Vaalsalyam, directed by the late actor Cochin Haneefa. After that he was seen in more than eighty films.
Golandara Varthakal, Mayamayooram, Chakoram, Pingami, Oru Maravathoor Kanavu, Sallapam etc are his notable films. He was also seen doing major and minor roles in some popular TV serials.
