Minor Tremor with a magnitude of 5.2 shakes north east region of India today around 7AM in the morning. This tremor lasted 5 seconds. People rushed out immediately when the shake was felt in the morning. People around this region said they havent felt this strong shake in last 15 years. So far there are no casualities reported in this earthquake. The centre point from where this tremor originated is identified to be near Sylhet in Bangladesh.
We cant forget the major earthquake which happened in 1897 with 8.7 magnitude and around 1600 people lost their life.
